Senior AI Foundations Scientist - RL & Generative Modeling

Waymo is seeking a ML/Data Engineer to join the AI Foundations team in a hybrid role. You will design data pipelines, develop data-selection algorithms, and run large-scale studies linking pre-training data to downstream performance. Collaboration with perception, behavior, and evaluation teams is essential to improve the Waymo Driver.

Requirements include a PhD in ML or related field (or MSc with publications), strong Python, and 3+ years with JAX, TensorFlow or PyTorch. C++ is a plus.
