About This Opportunity

Our client is a well-established and growing fit-out business with more than 30 years of industry experience. They are looking for a Senior Administrator to join their close-knit Operations team of four, where everyone pulls together and lends a hand when it matters.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly organised, hands-on administrator to take real ownership within a busy operations function. Supporting one of the company's longest-standing national retail contracts, you will help keep a fast-moving, service-led workflow running smoothly - and with the business exploring AI to improve efficiency, you could play a part in shaping how the team works in the future.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Operations team, with a particular focus on a key national retail contract
  • Manage and prioritise a varied workload, handling a number of different tasks at any one time
  • Ensure prompt, clear communication and follow-up with the client, including meeting tight response times (SLA) on reported repairs and next steps
  • Coordinate with the maintenance and labour teams to get engineers and operatives to sites as required
  • Work through and help clear an existing workload backlog, identifying and implementing efficiencies to improve the process
  • Delegate tasks effectively and think like a Senior Administrator / Executive Assistant when planning and managing workload
  • Maintain accurate records and keep systems up to date
  • Work closely with colleagues in the team, supporting one another to meet the needs of the contract
About You Essential:
  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communicator, both written and verbal
  • IT literate and comfortable working with systems and software
  • Able to juggle different tasks at all times and delegate effectively
  • A genuine team player
Desirable:
  • Experience within the fit-out or construction sector
What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary of £28k - £32k depending on experience
  • Permanent position within a stable, growing business with 30+ years of industry experience
  • Monday to Friday working pattern - no weekends
  • Friendly, supportive team environment where colleagues genuinely help one another
  • The chance to make a real impact on the efficiency of a key contract, with AI-driven workflow improvements being explored
