The Role

Our Media Solutions team is at the forefront of the media industry, dedicated to crafting impactful media solutions that resonate with audiences and deliver unparalleled value to our clients.

We are looking to appoint an experienced salesperson to work as a Senior Account Manager in our Media Solutions department. Demonstrating a strong track record in sales and business to business background, the successful applicant will be responsible for maximising advertising sales revenue, managing key accounts and identifying opportunities for growing new business. The role is suited to an analytical thinker who is commercially driven.

This is a fixed term contract for a 12 month duration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement bespoke media campaigns in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring optimal pricing and yield management.
  • Propel digital growth in relevant categories, introducing new products and services.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with key clients, identifying forthcoming opportunities and crafting effective packages.
  • Lead in establishing relationships with a new client base, managing pitches and identifying opportunities.
  • Represent The Irish Times Group at meetings and attend events relevant to your area.
  • Identify market trends to expand the portfolio of Irish Times group Media Solutions offerings.
Requirements & Experience
  • Proven track record in achieving and exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of Digital Marketing and CRM systems a distinct advantage
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skillsAbility to work on own initiative and show leadership skills within the team, driving key initiatives
  • Strong administrative, reporting and organisational skill set required.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills - ability to communicate at all levels.
  • Full clean drivers licence (highly desirable but not essential)
