Hi, I'm Chris, the Head of Sales & Account Management at HowNow. I'm looking for an experienced Senior Account Executive to join us.

Day-to-day tasks will include:

  • Establishing a scalable, predictable approach to generating net-new business for HowNow across the Mid-Market/Enterprise territories.
  • Working hand-in-hand with our marketing team to build your strategy, demonstrating how you will create a healthy, sustainable, and consistent pipeline of opportunities. You'll be expected to generate around 30% of your business.
  • Managing the end-to-end sales cycle, showing confidence in selling complex SaaS solutions, from prospecting to demonstrations and contracting.
  • Collaborating with marketing on campaigns, nurturing strategies, and resources that inspire prospects to want to learn more.
  • Networking and building influence on social networks, forums, and at in-person events.

The key things we look for in applicants:

  • Experience selling and closing deals into Mid-Market/Enterprise accounts, with proven success managing, selling, and closing at leadership/executive levels.
  • A consistent track record of delivering against a sizable quota of approximately £500k per annum.
  • Experience selling complex SaaS solutions to L&D and/or HR leaders.
  • Ability to 'multithread' deals, prospect, and manage diverse stakeholders in parallel.
  • A passion for and knowledge of AI applications in Learning & HR technology, with a keen interest in innovation.
  • Confidence in demonstrating a scalable sales methodology.
  • Love for data to help prioritize, plan, and learn.
  • Organization skills, proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot, and the ability to create compelling business cases for customers.
  • A growth mindset, love for learning, and openness to feedback.

What you'll get:

Our salaries are benchmarked using a SaaS tool called ( Figures ). The base salary for this role ranges from £70,000 to £80,000 per year, with double OTE and a competitive commission plan.

Hybrid working (2 days a week in our London office, Tuesday and Wednesday, and Thursday) and flexible hours.

Work from anywhere for up to two weeks per quarter, details of which can be read here .

Wind-down Fridays: no meetings from 2 pm onwards to help you relax and prepare for the weekend. Use this time for emails, learning, or development.
