About Gartner Public SectorOur Public Sector sales division delivers research insights and guidance to CIOs and CTOs within the public sector, including government, security & defence, tax, healthcare and housing. This role focuses on healthcare and local government accounts in Wales.
What to expectAs a Senior Account Executive you will partner with CIOs/CTOs of leading enterprises, helping them achieve mission critical priorities and grow their business. The role is field based and responsible for client retention and expansion, introducing new products and services, and consulting with C level executives to develop enterprise wide strategies.
What you'll do- Manage accounts to increase customer satisfaction and drive retention and growth.
- Maintain a quota responsibility of $800,000+ contract value in a territory of major client accounts.
- Master Gartner's sales methodology and execute it consistently.
- Plan accounts and manage the territory effectively.
- Forecast accuracy monthly, quarterly and annually.
- Stay current on competitive knowledge and maintain focus.
- Demonstrate in depth knowledge of Gartner's products and services.
- 8 15 years of proven consultative sales experience, preferably in high technology services, software or consultative environments.
- Strong intellect, drive, executive presence and sales acumen.
- Proven ability to build excellent C level client relationships in large enterprise organisations.
- Strong computer proficiency and presentation skills.
- Knowledge of the full life cycle of the sales process.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree desired.
