Job Description

TP Tutors is currently looking for dedicated tutors in Canterbury to provide personalised support for young people with Special Educational Needs in Maths and English.

This role offers the chance to work closely with learners who benefit from tailored, one-to-one or small group tuition outside of mainstream classroom settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver customised tuition sessions designed around individual learning needs
  • Support students with additional needs including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Create a calm, structured, and engaging learning environment
  • Work in home or community-based settings
  • Encourage progress, independence, and confidence in learners
What We're Looking For
  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Ability to deliver Maths and/or English tuition
  • Based in Canterbury or able to travel locally
  • A patient, adaptable, and supportive approach
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
