SEND Teaching Assistant

GSL Education are currently recruiting for a passionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work with KS3 and KS4 students. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who are committed to supporting children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and helping them reach their full potential.

• Support students with a range of SEND, including ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and learning difficulties
• Provide 1:1 and small group support tailored to individual needs
• Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
• Help implement EHCPs and personalised support strategies
• Promote positive behaviour, engagement, and emotional wellbeing

• Have experience working with SEND children or young people
• Be patient, adaptable, and nurturing in their approach
• Have strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Be confident supporting students with additional needs and behaviour
• Have a genuine passion for working in education
