SEND Teaching Assistant - Long Term
Camden Full Time September Start £95 - £98 per day (PAYE)

Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a long term opportunity at a welcoming primary school in Camden, starting in September.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school where you will make a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access learning, build confidence and achieve their individual goals.

The Role
  • Full time, Monday to Friday
  • Long term position with the opportunity to become permanent
  • Supporting pupils with a range of SEND including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs and SEMH
  • Working closely with the class Teacher, SENDCO and external professionals
  • Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence throughout the school day
The Ideal Candidate
  • Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting
  • A calm, patient and proactive approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
  • Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential with suitable experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
