SEND Teaching Assistant - Long Term
Camden Full Time September Start £95 - £98 per day (PAYE)
Protocol Education is recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant for a long term opportunity at a welcoming primary school in Camden, starting in September.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a supportive and inclusive school where you will make a real difference to the lives of children with additional needs. You will provide 1:1 and small group support, helping pupils access learning, build confidence and achieve their individual goals.
The Role- Full time, Monday to Friday
- Long term position with the opportunity to become permanent
- Supporting pupils with a range of SEND including Autism, ADHD, Speech and Language needs and SEMH
- Working closely with the class Teacher, SENDCO and external professionals
- Encouraging positive behaviour and promoting independence throughout the school day
- Previous experience supporting children with SEND in a school or similar setting
- A calm, patient and proactive approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Relevant qualifications are desirable but not essential with suitable experience
- Long term role with the potential to secure a permanent position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
