Job Description

Location: Harrow. Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm. Pay: Competitive daily rate, paid weekly.

We are recruiting a passionate SEND Teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) to join a welcoming and inclusive college in Harrow. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). You will work alongside an experienced SEND team, delivering engaging lessons and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Support students with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
  • Monitor student progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Work collaboratively with Learning Support Assistants, parents and professionals.
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience working with SEND learners.
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
  • Right to work in the UK.
  • You must be suitably qualified for the position advertised and be prepared to attend a face to face interview with Axcis to demonstrate your suitability for this role.
