Contract: Permanent, Term Time
Hours: 40 hours a week
Salary: £32,916 to £45,535 (M1 to M6)
Inspire, Support and Transform LearningA dedicated and compassionate SEN Teacher is required to deliver personalised, engaging learning for young people aged 7-19 who face barriers to mainstream education. This role is ideal for someone who believes in flexible, relationship-centred teaching and wants to make a meaningful difference every day.
The provision offers personalised learning pathways across academic subjects, alternative provision hubs and vocational areas such as Sports, Land-Based Studies, Motor Mechanics, Construction, Creative Digital, Catering, Creative Arts and Adventure. Staff work closely with learners and families to build trust, confidence and positive outcomes.
What You'll Be Doing- Deliver engaging, personalised learning to small groups and 1:1 learners across local hubs
- Adapt curriculum content and activities to meet a wide range of SEN needs
- Build nurturing, positive relationships and advocate for learners' needs
- Involve learners and families in planning, decision making and progress reviews
- Maintain a safe learning environment through safeguarding and health & safety compliance
- Support assessments, progress tracking, report writing and EHCP documentation
- Work collaboratively with Learning Managers to gather information and maintain accurate records
- Contribute to curriculum development within your subject area
- Engage fully in CPD and ongoing professional development
- Travel regularly between sites (driving licence and vehicle required)

Essential Skills & Experience- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Strong understanding of adapting curriculum for SEN learners
- Clear knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
- Experience supporting young people with anxiety and diverse learning needs
- Ability to build trust, rapport and positive relationships
- Understanding of visual and structured teaching strategies
- Creativity, flexibility, resilience and a solution focused mindset
