Job Description

Our client, a well-established education provider in Rugby, Warwickshire, is seeking an experienced and dedicated SEND Specialist Tutor to join their team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will work one-on-one with students who have special educational needs and disabilities, providing tailored support to help them reach their full potential.

As a SEND Specialist Tutor, you will be responsible for assessing students' individual needs, developing personalised learning plans, and delivering engaging and effective lessons. You will work closely with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's education and well-being.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in special educational needs and disabilities, with a proven track record of success in supporting students with diverse learning requirements. You should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to adapt your teaching style to meet the unique needs of each student.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Relevant experience working with students with SEND
  • In-depth knowledge of special educational needs and disabilities
  • Familiarity with a range of teaching strategies and interventions
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills

In return for your expertise and commitment, our client offers a competitive salary of £30 - £35 per hour, with the potential for negotiation based on experience and qualifications.
