We are seeking a committed and experienced Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCo) to lead and develop our provision for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate professional to play a key role in shaping an inclusive learning environment where every pupil is supported to achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure high quality provision and positive outcomes for all pupils.
You will be a qualified teacher with a strong understanding of the SEND Code of Practice and a commitment to inclusive education. A National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo), or willingness to achieve it within the required timeframe, is essential.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. DBS Disclosure at Enhanced level will be required prior to any offer of employment. As part of the check the school will also request information regarding the status of being barred from working with children.
