Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant in Waltham Forest

We are seeking dedicated, compassionate, and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistants to join a welcoming school in Waltham Forest from September.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Waltham Forest
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Long-term
Start Date: September 2026
Daily Rate: £95-£120 per day

This is an exciting opportunity to support students with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including Autism (ASD), ADHD, SEMH, speech and language needs, and other learning difficulties. Roles are available across both mainstream and specialist schools.

Requirements:

• Experience supporting students with SEN


• Experience supporting students on a 1:1 basis and in small groups


• Knowledge of a range of SEN needs, including ASD, ADHD, SEMH, and speech and language difficulties


• A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting students


• Strong behaviour management and communication skills


• A valid DBS registered on the Update Service


• 2-3 professional references covering a minimum of 2-3 years of employment history


• Proof of right to work in the UK


• Proof of National Insurance


• Proof of address (dated within the last three months)
