St Michael's Easthampstead CE VA Primary School is a friendly school with a caring Christian ethos where all staff are committed to ensuring every child achieves to the best of their ability. We have an exciting opportunity for a teaching assistant to start work in our lovely school with flexibility around year groups (KS1/KS2).

- An interest in Sports & PE would be ideal but not essential

- Deliver high quality support and interventions for both groups and individuals
- Develop positive relationships with students, parents and staff
- Have an ability to work using their own initiative
- Have a high level of communication skills and the ability to relate positively to children and adults
- Adapt to changing situations and learn new skills
- Be resilient and have good behaviour management
- Be a team player and work closely with other staff members within the school
- Have experience of working with children, ideally those with SEN
- Have knowledge of safeguarding policies and procedures
- Able to deliver prepared lessons to cover staff absence
- An ambitious, highly skilled team to work with

Working pattern: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm but with some flexibility for the right candidate. This is a fixed term contract until 31 st August 2027.
