JOB TITLE - Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant
ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive and inclusive Primary School based in Yate. The school is committed to providing high-quality support for children with additional needs and offers ongoing professional development to all staff. Depending on performance, the school may look to extend the contract or offer a permanent position.
CONTRACT / POSITION DETAILS- Location: Yate
- Position: Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant
- Full-Time: Monday to Friday
- Day Rate: £90 - £110
- Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm
- SEN experience - Mandatory
- Strong background supporting children with:
- Autism
- Speech & Language Needs
- Learning Difficulties
- Up-to-date safeguarding training issued within the last year (or willingness to complete)
- Strong understanding of behaviour management strategies
- Excellent communication skills
- Hold Right to Work in the UK
- Hold an Enhanced Child Barred List DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for one
- Provide 24 months of professional references, including child-related experience
