SEN Teaching Assistant (Autism Support) - Secondary School
Bexhill, East Sussex Full Time September Start £105 per day (PAYE)
Teach South Kent is seeking a caring and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in Bexhill from September.
This full-time role involves supporting students with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), helping them to access learning, build confidence and achieve their potential in a mainstream secondary school environment.

The Role

- Provide 1:1 and small group support for students with autism.
- Support pupils both in the classroom and around the school.
- Work alongside teachers to deliver engaging and accessible learning.
- Encourage positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing.
- Help students develop independence, communication and social skills.
- Build positive relationships with pupils, staff and families.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience supporting children or young people (school, SEN, care, youth work or similar).
- Has an understanding of autism and additional learning needs (experience is desirable but not essential).
- Is patient, resilient and compassionate.
- Has excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Is committed to helping every student succeed.
- £105 per day paid weekly via PAYE.
- Full-time, term-time position.
- September start.
