If so, Horizon Care and Education is looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join our team at our school based in Sutton.

Responsibilities- Assisting students in their educational and social development.
- Providing support inside and outside of the classroom so they can fully engage in a wide range of activities.
- Helping to set up activities for students, using technology or adjusting the environment to suit their needs.
- Supporting teachers, engaging with students, providing learning support, and reacting to situations in the classroom in a positive, non-disruptive manner.
- Working 1:1 with some students to give them the time and support they need to learn.
- Experience of working with children who have behavioural support needs with a good knowledge of behavioural management techniques and strategies.
- Grade C or above GCSE in English and Math, or L1/2 equivalent functional skills qualification.
- Hold or be willing to work towards a recognised teaching assistant qualification.
