The school is part of a highly respected multi-academy trust with a strong reputation for delivering outstanding support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. Their approach is centred around inclusion, personalised learning, strong partnerships with families, and ensuring every child has access to a broad, ambitious curriculum that enables them to thrive both academically and personally.

The Role

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, Communication and Interaction needs, SEMH, and learning difficulties.
  • Work closely with teachers and other professionals to deliver personalised learning and intervention programmes.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils to support their emotional, social, and academic development.
  • Promote independence, confidence, and positive behaviour.
  • Help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Have previous experience working with children or young people with SEN.

  • Be patient, resilient, and committed to supporting pupils with additional needs.
  • Have strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Be able to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
What's on Offer?
  • The opportunity to join a brand-new specialist school from its opening.
  • Long-term, full-time work with the potential for permanent opportunities.
  • Ongoing support and professional development.
  • A rewarding role making a genuine difference to the lives of young people.
  • The chance to be part of a trust recognised for its commitment to high-quality SEND provision, inclusion, and personalised support.

If you're an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next challenge and would like to be part of an exciting new chapter in specialist education, we'd love to hear from you.
