Salary: £170 to £210 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist SEND school in Wolverhampton that provides a nurturing and highly supportive learning environment for just 12 pupils. The school places a strong emphasis on communication, independence and positive relationships, offering staff the opportunity to make a real difference while working within a dedicated and collaborative team.

The school is looking to appoint a full time SEND Teacher on a temporary to permanent basis, starting ASAP and continuing through September. The successful SEND Teacher will work with pupils across KS1 to KS4, supporting children with complex needs and non verbal communication, delivering engaging and differentiated lessons while promoting each pupil's academic, social and emotional development.

Requirements

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching children and young people with SEND, particularly complex needs and non verbal pupils
• Experience delivering differentiated lessons across KS1 to KS4
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A patient, adaptable and compassionate approach to teaching
