GSL Education are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced SEN Teacher to work in schools across Lincoln, on a temporary basis with a view to going full-time. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified teacher who is passionate about supporting students with additional needs and creating an inclusive learning environment.
The Role:As an SEN Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and differentiated lessons to students with a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN) across either Primary or Secondary settings. You will play a key role in supporting students' academic progress, social development, and overall wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver tailored lessons to meet individual learning needs
- Support students with a variety of SEN, adapting teaching strategies accordingly
- Monitor and assess student progress, implementing effective interventions
- Create a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with support staff, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is essential
- Experience teaching children with additional needs in either Primary or Secondary settings
- Strong behaviour management and differentiation skills
- A patient, flexible, and nurturing approach
