Job Description
To plan and deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching that meets the diverse needs of pupils with complex needs and challenging behaviours. Why not reach out today to discuss your thoughts in further detail before applying?Key Responsibilities Plan and deliver personalised learning experiences that meet the diverse needs of pupils with communication differences, sensory processing needs, and complex and severe learning needs Help students develop confidence, independence and encourage them to learn, adapting teaching to respond to the strengths and needs of all pupils Work collaboratively with families and professionals to support children's progress Set high expectations which inspire, motivate and challenge pupils Lead a team and provide clear guidance to Teaching Assistants Help to disseminate good practice across the school Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment where all pupils can thrive Requirements A committed and passionate approach to supporting students with SEND and PMLD Ability to create a safe, nurturing environment where pupils feel understood and empowered to explore, communicate and thrive A minimum of two years' experience working within a SEND and/or PMLD/SLD setting or provision QTS/QTLS is essential Strong communication and teamwork skills A flexible and proactive attitude towards supporting pupils with complex needs Benefits of Joining Aspire People Competitive rates of pay Staff Referral Scheme Enhanced pay scales based on experience and qualifications Ongoing support from a dedicated recruitment consultant Commitment to EqualityAspire People is proud to be an Equal Opportunities Employer.
