SEN Support Assistant - Mainstream Primary

Are you passionate about supporting children with autism in a nurturing, small-class environment? We're looking for a dedicated SEN Support Assistant to join a welcoming mainstream primary school in Liverpool.

About the role:

• Support pupils with autism in small, structured SEN classes
• Work closely with the class teacher and wider team to deliver personalised learning and care
• Encourage communication, sensory regulation, and positive behaviour
• Provide consistency, empathy, and a calm presence throughout the school day

What we're looking for:

• Experience supporting children with SEND, ideally autism
• Patience, resilience, and a genuine commitment to inclusive education
• Team player with strong communication skills
• DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one
