About the RoleAre you a passionate and adaptable Supply Teacher looking to make a difference in SEN schools across Blackpool? At Hays Education, we are seeking dedicated educators who thrive in special educational needs (SEN) environments and can provide high-quality teaching on a flexible basis.This role offers varied teaching experiences across different SEN settings, allowing you to develop your skills while making a meaningful impact on students with additional needs. Whether you're looking for short-term assignments, long-term placements, or day-to-day cover, we have opportunities to suit your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and tailored lessons to students with diverse learning needs
- Adapt teaching methods to support students with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities)
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with school staff to ensure student progress and well-being
- Manage classroom behaviour effectively, promoting a supportive atmosphere
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification
- Experience working with SEN students (preferred but not essential)
- Strong classroom management and adaptability skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- A flexible and proactive approach to teaching
