Job Description
SEN Teaching Assistant - Sutton 
Location: Sutton
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Type: Full-time / Long-term
Protocol Education is looking for a patient and enthusiastic SEN Teaching Assistant to join one of our supportive partner schools in Sutton.
This role involves working with pupils who have a range of Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Autism (ASD), ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health needs (SEMH). You will support pupils' learning, wellbeing, and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide 1:1 or small group support to pupils with SEN
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities
- Support pupils' social, emotional, and academic development
- Help implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
- Monitor and record pupil progress
- Experience supporting children with SEN (in school or similar environment)
- Patient, proactive, and empathetic approach
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
