We are looking for SEN Teachers of Secondary aged children to join our new school in the Long Eaton area,(NG10) you will be working with children aged 5-19 in a specialist SEN environment. Specialising in Maths, English or Science.
Meadowbrook School will be a brand-new, independent specialist day school providing high-quality education for up to 80 pupils.
Based in Long Eaton, Nottingham, the school will meet the diverse needs of pupils aged 5-19 with Special Educational Needs (SEN), including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
Refurbishment is currently underway, with completion scheduled for late Summer.
We provide a holistic, bespoke curriculum with rich learning opportunities that enable young people to develop their functional life skills in order to experience a high quality of life.
We are looking forward to opening the school and the Headteacher Jennifer is eager to get started!

- QTS or QTLS Qualification
- Have proven teaching and learning experience
- Have up to date safeguarding and child protection qualifications/knowledge and experience.
The ideal candidate should:
- Be an outstanding classroom practitioner.
- Have the energy, passion, and drive to raise standard.
- Have initiative, vision, excellent planning, and organisational skills.
- Have experience of working with students with SEMH and additional needs .
- Have knowledge and understanding of developments in education.
