A diverse and welcoming primary school close to Avonmouth is looking for a full-time SEN Learning Partner to join their team on a long-term basis.
This is a varied role, working across mainstream classrooms and within the school's behavioural support unit. The school has a strong community feel, high expectations for all pupils, and a commitment to inclusion, wellbeing, and personal development. Staff work together to help children become confident, resilient learners who feel safe, supported, and ready to succeed.
The role- Supporting pupils with a range of additional needs
- Working alongside class teachers in mainstream lessons
- Providing support within the behavioural unit
- Building positive relationships with pupils and helping them engage with learning
- Promoting a calm, inclusive and supportive learning environment
- Has experience supporting children or young people, SEN experience is preferred
- Is patient, resilient and able to build strong relationships
- Can work effectively as part of a wider school team
- Is looking for a long-term opportunity within education
- Pay from £14.25 per hour
- Full-time, long-term work in a supportive school
