Semi Skilled Butcher - Winsford

As a Manufacturing Key Operative - Semi Skilled Butcher, you'll slice and trim meat to required specifications in a safe and efficient manner, to deliver quality food safe products. This will include trimming meat from bone, primal cuts, and slicing steaks, chops and joints from three species.

You'll ensure products are butchered to specification based on training received, strive to be an expert, share knowledge with the team, and support colleagues. Working flexibly across the business, you will also follow company policies such as health and safety, security, hygiene and cleaning.

• Good teamwork skills and ability to follow instructions
• Some knife skills (previous butchery experience is not essential)
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, e.g., chainmail gloves, in a production environment with varying temperatures
• Flexible approach, enjoys teamwork, and can concentrate on repetitive tasks
• Ready to work in a raw meat, chilled environment (2-9 C) and wear full PPE at all times
