Job Title: SEMH Teaching Assistant
Location: Specialist Primary SEMH School, Slough
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:00pm
Pay: From £89 per day (PAYE)
Contract: Term-time only / Ongoing
- Supporting pupils with SEMH needs throughout the school day
- Assisting with behaviour regulation and emotional support
- Using positive behaviour management strategies consistently
- Supporting learning both inside and outside the classroom
- Working closely with teachers and support staff to maintain a calm, structured environment
- Being physically active and on your feet for much of the day
- Experience working with children with SEMH and challenging behaviour
- Strong behaviour management skills
- A calm, patient and nurturing approach
- Ability to remain resilient in challenging situations
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, active setting
- Previous school-based experience is highly desirable
- Competitive daily pay from £89 PAYE
