SEMH Teacher

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a specialist provision in Bradford who are looking to appoint an SEMH Teacher. The setting supports children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health / SEMH needs, including pupils with Autism and ADHD who may also display challenging behaviour.

The setting is looking for a resilient and adaptable SEMH Teacher to provide day-to-day cover with an Immediate Start. The successful SEMH Teacher will deliver engaging lessons while supporting pupils' individual needs, managing challenging behaviour and helping to maintain a safe and positive learning environment.

The successful SEMH Teacher will have:

• QTS (ECTs are also welcomed to apply)
• Experience working with children and young people with SEMH needs
• Experience supporting pupils with Autism and ADHD
• Experience managing challenging behaviour
• Excellent classroom management skills
• A patient, resilient and adaptable approach
