- Supporting pupils 1:1 and in small groups with SEMH and ASD needs
- Helping to create a calm, structured, and safe learning environment
- Using creative and adaptive approaches to keep learners engaged
- Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils who need consistency most
- Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals
- Supporting emotional regulation and positive behaviour strategies
You don't need to tick every box, but the right attitude is everything.
- Experience supporting children with SEMH and/or ASD
- A patient, empathetic, and resilient nature
- Confidence managing challenging behaviour in a calm, supportive way
- A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs
- Team player with a proactive mindset
- Bonus if you've had training in behaviour support, safeguarding, or interventions.
You'll be the person who helps a child feel understood.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
