Role Overview

Volunteer within our Self Harm Network to support staff running an online web chat that operates 6 pm 10 pm, 7 days a week. This remote, voluntary position is based across Scotland.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in operating the online web chat, providing a reassuring presence to people who self harm.
• Ensure smooth functioning of the chat platform.
• Collaborate with staff and other volunteers to promote positive mental health and well being.

Qualifications & Expectations

• No previous experience required; a positive attitude and a desire to support people struggling with self harm are essential.
• Volunteers with lived experience of self harm and recovery are especially encouraged.
