Security Solution Architect (with Cryptography deep knowledge)

Note that this role requires that you will be minimum 8 days/month in the office (Brussels preferable but London will be fine too)

You must have the knowledge and proven experience in the following:

• Broad knowledge of enterprise architecture, across applications, infrastructure, networks, cloud and security.
• Good understanding of cryptography, PKI/key management, crypto agility and Post-Quantum Cryptography
• Understands that cryptography can hide in many forms and layers, including protocols, certificates, libraries, code, hardware and network traffic.
• Sufficient protocol/network knowledge to reason about efficient crypto discovery, eg knowing that cryptographic negotiation/handshake information may occur early in a connection and assessing whether targeted packet/header inspection can replace full traffic inspection.
• Able to connect multiple discovery sources and identify coverage gaps rather than assume one tool provides complete visibility.
• Proactive self-starter, actively investigates problems rather than waiting for detailed instructions.
• Curious and willing to go the extra mile, including exploring unfamiliar technologies where necessary.
• Challenges assumptions and vendor claim and looks actively for blind spots and edge cases.
• Able to develop and compare build, buy and hybrid architecture options with clear trade-offs.
• End-to-end ownership mindset, driving technical questions from investigation and PoC through architectural decision and implementation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
