About The RoleShift Pattern: Varied, casual cover (8 or 12 hours shifts)
As a Security Officer, you will be the first line of support for employees and visitors to the site, providing a professional and friendly service. You will monitor fire, security, and building systems, ensuring that all assigned tasks are completed in a professional and timely manner, and in compliance with relevant legislation.
Responsibilities- Internal and external foot patrols
- High level control room monitoring of access control, CCTV and alarm systems
- Ensuring all procedures, site/assignment instructions and SOP's are followed at all times
- Site entry, car park barrier control and traffic management
- After hours Reception duties
- Accurate report writing using computer based software
- Sorting and delivering post and parcels from Royal mail and couriers to staff and companies on Campus
- Full right to work in the UK
- SIA Licence Frontline Manned Guarding or Door Supervisor is essential
- PSS Licence desirable
- Previous Security experience would be desirable but not essential
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Smart and professional appearance, good observation and customer service skills
- Ability to use your own initiative and work as part of a diverse team
- Computer literate in MS Word, Excel and Outlook are essential
- Clean UK Driver's Licence and own reliable transport
