Security Officer

We have a great opportunity to join a newly acquired contract as a Security Officer, working on a high profile security site in Wokingham.

The site is well known in the area. We need Security Officers to help secure the site, conduct patrols and respond to incidents that occur onsite. The role starts ASAP, so we are looking for someone who can start immediately and holds a valid SC clearance.

Contract Information

Pay Rate: £13.85 per hour
Shift Pattern: 4 on, 4 off (day and night) - Monday to Sunday. Flexibility required.
Hours per week: 42
Security Clearance Required: SC Clearance
SIA Licences: Door Supervisor or Security Guarding (CCTV desirable)
Experience Level: 6 months or more in security, with control room experience
Residence: Must have lived continuously in the UK for at least 6 years.

Your Time at Work

As a Security Officer, your duties will include:

• Meeting and greeting staff and visitors and ensuring they adhere to required security protocols
• Conducting searches where required
• Patrolling the premises
• Dealing with security incidents
• Writing incident reports
• Gatehouse duties
• Reception duties

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in security
• Valid Door Supervisor or Security Guarding Licence
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong customer service skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office
