Job Description

Job Role: Security Officer

Working Hours: Friday and Saturday, 18:00-23:30 - 11 hours per week

Pay: £13.50 per hour

Location:Trafford Golf Centre,Old Park Lane, Trafford Park,Manchester,M17 8PG

Reporting to: Contract Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunityhas arisen at Anchor Group Services, for anexperienced Security Officer to join our established securityteam based at Trafford Golf Centre.

In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining a safeand secure environment for both visitors and staff. You will liaise confidentlywith members of the public and site management, while ensuring all recordsandreports are completed accurately in line with operational requirements. The role requires a visible and professional security presence, while maintaining an approachable attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Applicants must hold a valid SIA licence as a minimum, withprevious security experience being essential.

Duties include

• Protecting theclient's property, people and/or assets by providingsecurity services in direct accordance with the sitespublished Assignment Instructions (AI's) and site-specificprocedures
• Providing a visible door presence, greeting guests, andmanaging entry flow
• Distributing waiting buzzers (similar to a queuingsystem) and directing guests to the front desk and bays
• Conducting walking patrols of the bays to ensure behaviourstandards are maintained, as well as collecting baskets and glasses
• Carrying out patrols of the well-lit car park
• Locking gates and escorting staff during closing procedures
• Working alongside an in-house full-time security guard at alltimes
• Maintaining radio contact with the front desk

Requirements

• Full5-year employment checkable history
• Validfrontline SIA licence
• CustomerService experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correctmanner
• Flexibleto meet the job requirements
• Excellentcommunication skills both written and verbal
• Smartappearance and be well-groomed
• Reliableand punctual
• Highlevel of enthusiasm and passion
• Abilityto work in a fast-moving environment
