CIS Security have an exciting opportunity for a Security Officer to join our growing team.

In this role, you will act as a professional ambassador for CIS Security, representing our standards and values at all times.

You will deliver high-quality guarding services, provide a confident and welcoming presence, and ensure an excellent level of customer service for clients, visitors, and service users. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, maintains a strong security awareness, and contributes positively to the overall safety and experience of the environment they are assigned to. Information; Position: Security Officer Location: Warrington (WA5) Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour Shifts: Various Shift Patterns Available (Generally 4 On 4 Off) Days, Nights & Weekends

Job Requirements

• SIA licence required
• Experience in high end corporate front of house, corporate security, or concierge services
• Must have excellent communication skills, be able to handle difficult conversations, follow process, policies and procedures
• Must be flexible and have the flexibility to change shifts due to operational needs
• IT Literate
• Basic understanding of access control systems and IT systems/programmes i.e., Microsoft Office for emails
• Ideally to understand a visitor management system
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as customer service
• Must have an excellent command of English Language
• Reliable, Responsible and Punctual
• A friendly, professional, courteous, and outgoing character
• To always take pride in your appearance, ensuring immaculate presentation
• Flexible in the approach to daily duties and additional events when held on site.
• Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested

Job Duties

• Able to demonstrate and deliver high quality guarding and customer service to both our clients and service users.
• Able to work in a team as well as on your own and can be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
• Be calm under pressure and confident in dealing with confrontational situations in a calm and professional manner
• Physically fit to complete patrols internally and externally and able to stand/walk during shift
• Confident in writing incident and shift reports
• The ability to be pro-active and think on your feet use initiative
• To always portray a friendly, professional and courteous demeanour, using open and appropriate body language.
• To ensure that all visitors and staff are dealt with efficiently, providing an exceptional customer service ensuring that their expectations are met, if not exceeded.
• The role includes you to conduct opening & closing procedures of a building, patrolling, reception duties, access control, answering incoming telephone calls, Conducting emergency procedures.
• Be confident you can undertake 100% of all specific duties
• Be able to provide all the documentation and vetting information requested
