Security Engineer - IAM

Location: Heerlen, Netherlands

Contract Duration: 6+ months (with potential extension)

Start Date: July (or earlier, if possible)

Working Pattern: Hybrid

Hours: 40 per week

An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Security Engineer to join a leading Financial Services client in Heerlen. This role focuses on Identity and Access Management (IAM), supporting the design, implementation, and optimisation of secure access controls across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyse, plan, implement, and test new IAM tool versions in line with vendor life cycles
• Design, build, and test configuration components for IAM
• Act as a key ambassador for the IAM platform across the business
• Ensure adherence to agreed IAM architecture principles
• Support Agile teams in onboarding applications to the IAM platform
• Provide end-user and Agile team support in the daily use of IAM tools
• Deliver training and presentations for IAM end users
• Assist business units with LAC ISAE audit activities
• Perform operational tasks, including daily checks and request handling

Key Requirements:

• Strong knowledge of SailPoint IdentityIQ, SecDM, and Data Access Governance
• Deep understanding of IAM processes
• Expertise in Security, Control, Audit, and Segregation of Duties
• Experience with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Role Management
• Familiarity with technical infrastructure: Windows Server, Linux, Certificates, Tomcat, Databases
• Hands-on experience with PowerShell, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, APIs, HTML, XML, and LDAP
