Role: Network & Cloud Security Engineer

Our client is seeking a skilled Network and Cloud Security Engineer to design, implement, and maintain secure network infrastructures and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and cloud-native security tools across AWS, Azure, or GCP.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and enforce network and cloud security architectures.
• Implement and manage security controls for cloud platforms (AWS, Azure etc)
• Monitor and respond to security incidents and vulnerabilities.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and penetration testing.
• Automate security processes using scripts and tools.
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps teams on secure deployments.

Requirements

• Dutch speaking role - good spoken & written Dutch is required
• Must be based in Netherlands
• Bachelors degree (required)
• Proven experience in network and cloud security engineering.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and routing protocols.
• Experience with cloud security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Azure Defender).
