Freelance ZZP Senior OT Security Engineer ICS OT SCADA Hybrid Working 12 Months

CBSButler are working with a multinational health tech organisation, who are looking for an OT Security Engineer to join on a 12 month rolling freelance ZZP contract, whereby you will help secure and maintain the integrity of industrial control systems (ICS) and manufacturing environments.

This position will play a key role in the design, implementation, and management of cybersecurity measures across operational technology (OT) platforms, ensuring alignment with IT security standards while addressing the unique needs of production environments.

This be a hybrid work model requiring a couple of days a month on site in The Randstad area, and we can pay up to €1000 per day for senior engineers or architects. If you're not available but know someone who would be, please forward them this job advert!

Please see below for what we're looking for:

• Previous experience in OT cybersecurity or industrial automation environments, implementing, monitoring, and maintaining security controls for OT networks and systems e.g, SCADA, DCS, PLCs etc.
• Strong understanding of ICS and SCADA systems and protocols.
• Familiarity with cyber risk management and assessment methodologies e.g. MITRE ATT&CK for ICS
• Experience with industrial-grade firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and asset discovery tools.
• Hands-on experience with OT/IT network architectures, including VLANs, DMZs, and segmentation strategies.
• Ideally you will have some familiarity with security frameworks such as IEC, NIS2, ISO27001 or similar
