Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Section Manager to join the G4S team, working for a new site in Swinton, Manchester.

Contract Information:

Pay Rate: £35,209 per annum
Shift Pattern: This role may require flexibility, including occasional weekends or out-of-hours support

You'll be working in a highly regulated, security-focused environment. Strong attention to compliance and procedures is essential.

Your Time at Work
  • Leading and managing operational teams to deliver against performance targets
  • Overseeing day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and compliance
  • Driving a strong culture of safety, security and accountability
  • Managing resource planning, rotas and operational cover
  • Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
  • Monitoring performance, identifying improvements and driving results
  • Supporting audits, compliance and operational standards
  • Coaching, developing and motivating your team

  • Proven experience in a people management or supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to manage performance and drive results
  • Organised, proactive and able to work under pressure
  • Confident working in a regulated or process driven environment
  • Good IT skills and ability to analyse operational data
  • Full UK driving licence
Desirable
  • Experience in logistics, transport or operational environments
  • Knowledge of cash handling/secure operations
