About the Role

Career Teachers are working in partnership with a number of secondary schools across Sheffield who are recruiting Secondary Teachers across all subject areas for September 2026 starts.

Roles are available on a day-to-day, short-term, and long-term basis, with many opportunities leading to permanent positions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging and structured lessons in your subject specialism
  • Maintain strong behaviour management and classroom expectations
  • Assess, monitor, and track student progress
  • Adapt teaching to meet a range of abilities and needs
  • Work collaboratively with departments and school staff
  • Contribute to a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • Recent experience teaching in UK secondary schools
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willing to apply)
  • Reliable, organised, and adaptable approach
  • Full UK driving licence (desirable but not essential)
