Salary: £140-£220 per day (PAYE, no umbrella deductions)

We are working with a range of welcoming and well supported secondary schools across Hartlepool, looking for confident and adaptable teachers to step in, maintain continuity of learning, and create a positive classroom environment.
Whether you're available one day a week or seeking a full timetable, we'll match you with schools that suit your preferences, teaching style, and availability.
What Your Day Will Involve- Delivering pre-set lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with Key Stage 5 opportunities available)
- Managing behaviour with confidence and consistency
- Building positive relationships quickly with students and staff
- Leaving clear and helpful handover notes to ensure continuity
- Full flexibility to choose when and where you work
- Opportunities across a variety of school settings, including academies and community schools
- Reliable, pre-booked work with clear expectations
- Weekly PAYE pay with no hidden deductions or umbrella companies
- A dedicated consultant who listens and supports you throughout
- UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Experience teaching within UK secondary schools
- Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management
- Ability to adapt quickly and confidently in new environments
- A positive, proactive attitude that engages students
We are fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. All applicants must:
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply)
- Have the right to work in the UK
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications (QTS/QTLS or equivalent)
- Provide two professional references covering the last two years
- Supply a full employment history with any gaps explained
- Demonstrate compliance with Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) guidelines

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
