Secondary Qualified Teachers - September Start!

Job Title: Secondary Teacher (ECT) - all subjects.

Location: Swindon.

Start date: 20/04/2026.

Pay: £140 £150 per day (6.5hrs) - supply only.

Overview

This role is for an Early Career Teacher who has completed a PGCE and obtained QTS, looking for supply teaching opportunities across secondary schools in Swindon starting after Easter. The role will involve teaching across all secondary subject areas, supporting classroom management, and building experience toward a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lesson plans and teach a range of subjects in secondary schools.
• Support classroom management and promote positive behaviour and engagement.
• Adapt lessons to meet the needs of diverse learners.
• Work independently while collaborating with other teachers and staff.

Qualifications and Skills

• Hold or will soon hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Completed PGCE or equivalent qualification.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.
• Inspirational and enthusiastic with a clear example of positive role-model behaviour.
