This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking for flexible work, whether you're seeking full-time or part-time hours, or short-term placements with the option of longer-term roles.
The RoleAs a Secondary LSA, you will play a vital role in supporting students aged 11-16 within the classroom. You will work closely with teachers to help pupils engage with learning, providing both academic and emotional support. Roles may involve working one-to-one with students, supporting small groups, or assisting the wider classroom environment.
Key Responsibilities- Support students with a range of learning needs, including SEN
- Assist teachers in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons
- Provide one-to-one or small group support where required
- Help manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies
- Encourage student confidence, independence, and participation
- Experience working with young people (school based experience desirable but not essential)
- A positive, proactive, and patient approach
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
