The role requires you to demonstrate good organisational and strong communication skills to effectively engage with children.This is a part-time fixed-term contract which entails 36.75 hours per week during term time.The hourly rate is £13.85 gross (i.e £15.66 including holiday pay), which derives from a full-time equivalent salary of £28,808 gross per annum. Key responsibilities Actively supervise Secondary students during non-classroom hours: e.g. recess, lunchtime, study time, class outings, etc. Supervise Primary students on occasions Establish and maintain a good working relationship with students and staff Monitor and report on student absence Use a positive discipline approach Manage student behaviour and conflicts by applying the school's code of conduct Report incidents or concerns in a prompt and accurate manner Monitor students' emotional well-being and developmental progress Provide first aid care when required Undertake occasional administrative duties Fulfill any additional duties as requested Education & experience English/French speaker GCSE/A-levels or equivalent Positive, professional, can-do attitude Professional flexibility and ability to work as part of a team Experience in working with children and an ambition to work in a school setting Strong commitment to safeguard children Good listener and communication skills Ability to strike a balance between discipline and support Accountable and punctual Ability to deal appropriately with sensitive or confidential information Calm and patient under pressure Ability to adapt/react effectively to any circumstances Computer literate Salary & Benefit scheme £13.85 gross per hour (i.e £15.66 including holiday pay), which derives from a full-time equivalent salary of £28,808 gross per annumFree 3-course meal daily cooked fresh in our kitchen, during Term Time OnlyContribution to Health Cash Plan (HSF)Discount at nearby businessesContribution to language classes (French or English)Work pension scheme Right to work in the UK On the 1st January 2021, free movement ended and the UK introduced a new immigration system, which treats EU and non-EU citizens equally and has transformed the way in which all migrants come to the UK to work and study.
