- Contract: 4 Year Whole-Time, Specified Purpose Contract
- Salary: The gross salary scale applicable to the post is €46,148 - €77,007 per annum on a full-time basis (rates effective 01/06/2026).
SEAM (South Eastern Applied Materials) is an ISO 9001:2015 accredited industry-focused Applied Research and Development facility based at South East Technological University in Waterford. It provides innovative materials engineering solutions for research and industrial partners seeking assistance on materials related issues that cannot be solved by utilising their on-site resources. SEAM is also a leading Technology Gateway Centre, supporting industries from wide-ranging sectors such as Medical, Pharmaceuticals, Micro-electronics, Precision Engineering, Food and Energy.
