Mission context

The IT Tribe is composed of multiple squads, grouped in clusters, managing numerous applications that serve the daily needs of the customers (all segments) of our financials client.

One of the clusters is related to Cards (issuing of debit & credit cards, cards transactions) and Cash.

There is an open position for a Cluster Scrum Master for the cluster Cash & Cards. Together with the Cluster Product Owner you will be working closely together with 6 Squads in the cluster.
In this function, you will be a link between the ongoing delivery within the cluster's initiatives, while collaborating & preparing the cluster for delivery of this group program governance initiative to offer a new end-to-end value proposition for the cards issuing & transaction.

You will also be part of the Tribe Leadership Team.

Function description

The Cluster Scrum Master spends his time helping the various stakeholders in the tribe to communicate, coordinate and cooperate.

In general, she/he assists the tribe in delivering their goals by ensuring a smooth environment and facilitating continuous improvement.

• You drive and coordinate the end-to-end delivery of features or initiatives (follow-up development, testing, release & aftercare) for example through Scrum of Scrums
• You facilitate the cluster refinement & delivery board, and you maintain the cluster delivery roadmap, you ensure recurrent alignment with architecture
• You resolve (cluster level) impediments
• You report towards relevant stakeholders on initiative and feature delivery progress
• You bring together relevant stakeholders & contributors and maintain a good relationship with them
• You stimulate other roles (squad scrum master, other) to act autonomously and support where needed
• You contribute to the continues improvement of the cluster/tribe
• You act as a leader and together with the Cluster Product Owner, you are the spokespersons for your cluster

Education

You have a Master degree, preferably in Business Administration, Engineering or IT, or assimilated by experience.
Knowledge/expertise/experience in the domain Cards issuing and/or cards payments, is an extra value

Travel: Travel to Paris can occasionally be required

Telework: Expectation: 50% on site & 50% homeworking

Required experience/knowledge: At least 5 years of relevant experience

Technical experience:

mandatory

• You build enough knowledge of the cluster's products/assets (Cards, Cash) to understand the context of each squad and to be able to support them at best

desirable

• Knowledge/expertise/experience in the domain Cards issuing and/or cards payments, is an extra value

Business experience

mandatory

• You can easily make the bridge between business and IT

preferable

• You are familiar with the ins and outs of agile teams and methodologies

Soft skills

• Excellent communication skills
• Able to cope with complex conflicts of interest between stakeholders
• Able to adopt a helicopter view over the situation to identify and resolve present and future inter-tribe dependencies
