We are seeking a Science Technician to join our team at Chertsey High School, part of Bourne Education Trust. About Chertsey High School

Details

Position: Science Technician

Contract: Term time, permanent

Start Date: March 2026

Key responsibilities include:
  • Assist in planning, developing and organising equipment, systems, policies and procedures for the specialist technical area
  • Participate in the development of science practical work and technical features to meet teaching / learning needs. Advise staff of technical requirements needed in the scheme of work
Requirements include:
  • Ability to demonstrate an awareness, understanding and commitment to the protection and safeguarding of children GCSE
  • English and Maths or equivalent Grade C/5
  • Relevant experience of working with children in an education setting
