A diverse and inclusive mixed secondary school in the borough of Kensington and Chelsea are looking for a qualified Science teacher to join their school in September 2026

The Role

The school is seeking a hard-working, enthusiastic, and dedicated Science Teacher with a passion for the subject and the ability to engage and inspire students. You will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5 Chemistry, ensuring that all students make excellent progress and develop a love for science.

Key responsibilities
  • Planning and delivering engaging, well-structured lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Assessing, tracking, and recording pupil progress to inform teaching and support individual learning needs.
  • Creating a stimulating classroom environment that encourages curiosity and independent thinking.
  • Preparing students for GCSE examinations and supporting them in achieving their academic potential.
  • Contributing to curriculum development and departmental initiatives within Technology.
  • Participating in school events, trips, and enrichment activities that enhance students' understanding of science and the wider world.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues and parents to promote positive attitudes to learning and achievement.

This role is suitable for both Experienced Teachers and ECTs. You will join a friendly and collaborative department that strives to ensure all students enjoy learning and exceed expectations. The school will look to interview after half term.
