Requirements:

  • QTS or QTLS status (ECTs/NQTs and experienced practitioners are encouraged to apply).
  • Degree level qualification in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience delivering the UK Secondary Science Curriculum.
  • Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service (or readiness to process one)

Key Duties

  • Plan and conduct exciting, hands-on Science lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Assess student work, track practical skills, and offer constructive feedback.
  • Maintain high standards of safety, engagement, and positive behaviour in the lab.
  • Prepare students thoroughly for target grades across combined and triple science modules.
  • Work alongside secondary science teams to support school curriculum goals.
